Monument dedicated to these 3 heroes of the Philippines history : soldiers Elloso, Velena and Placino. During WW2, they led the resistance for the freedom of their country, helping the USA for taking back the land from the japanese army. Philippines was a strategical point of the WW2 and 80% of the capital, Manila, was destroyed during bombings. 5% of the population died during the war.
