Amtrak Intercity variant of Siemens Venture coaches, based on the Fleet Acquisition documents provided by Amtrak. Amtrak Intercity is a replacement fleet of aging Amfleet II and other various assets used on Northeast Corridor. It aims to standardize the fleet operated on the busiest passenger rail route of United States with a singular and yet versatile fleet of Venture coaches and Charger engines. Intercity fleet will include driving trailers in order to remove engine switching, coach and business classes, as well as power/battery car. Battery car will feature a pantograph to power the consist on Northeast Corridor (NEC), whereas outside the NEC, Charger engine will operate with its diesel engine. Venture Intercity, as well as Charger pack are made for the video game Cities: Skylines. It contains coaches, texture set, modular pantographs in 3 position. Pantograph height is standard NEC overhead height.
