A sirenoid or mermaid that, in my limited knowledge of marine biology, tries to be as plausible as possible taking cetaceans as a reference. Taking advantage of the circumstances of #Mermay, I have made my very first foray into the field of UVs and texturing. This is a mermaid based alphabet I’ve made using normal map to 3D and then manual sculpting in ZBrush. 1024 x 1024 Textures for the lower res uvmapped objects were painted in 3DCoat.
I have also made decimated versions suitable for 3D printing (obj. and stl. files) from all of the sculpted letters as well.
