We start the second quarter of the challenge with a lighthouse. The truth is that as a personal exercise it's being very useful to me. Without realizing it, I'm becoming more agile. Although the inspiration phase is still difficult for me, until I have the vision of what I'm looking for, everything is trial and error 3D Model is ready to download for free

Made this floating island with a lighthouse in 5 days trying to be done by the end of the week. And I gotta say, this was a marathon. Were a lot of troubles with baking, making fine details. If I had more time I would probably did separate bakes, but not this time. So, about the model: it’s a handpainted lowpoly with baked map from a highpoly. Triangles count: 27,5K. I was going with anime style (Miyazaki movies) and for reference I used artworks of Jim Shore (“Benatrex - Shorelights”), you’ll notice the lighthouse that I recreated.
