A gothic public water pump in the market town of Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire. It was one of many installed in the 1860’s, though this is the last one left. It no longer works, and is just a decorative piece of street furniture now. It stands about 7 feet tall. A reminder that 19th Century England was not the blacks and greys we often see in photographs, but often as colourful and bright as high streets are today. 243 images taken in January 2022 and processed in Metashape and Blender.
