The “Volkssturmgewehr” is an old late-war German Assault Rifle from World War 2. It utilized a special gas-delayed blowback system which allowed for semi-automatic fire. It was created in the “Primitiv-Waffen-Programm” to save important resources for the war and was build from already existing components. The weapon was able to chamber MP43/StG 44 magazines and used therefore 7.92x33mm munition.
