Claire’s Space is an interactive 3D environment based on an original character of mine. Claire is a character who heals through the power of music. Olivia Enoch and Rachel Sigalovv helped come up with defining attributes that would fit the personality. We decided on long midnight blue hair and a sort of goddess energy that Claire holds. When developing Claire’s Space, I wanted to encompass an overall mushroom theme. I believe that bedroom decor is a vital part of someone’s life, because that is the space that one comes back to to heal. You absorb the energy of the room you created, and that space is a reflection of who you are. 9 weeks in total to get this girl working. From sculpting to rigging, animation and character controllers, this goblin has been a heck of a challenge. I’m happy to be out of the other side with a lot more useful skills under my belt.
I made this character for my uni assesment after an artwork by Sam Frisk on Twitter.
I followed a high to low workflow, maxed roughness PBR texture, and even made a simple custom rig.
While learning, it kicked my butt but I am very proud of the results 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 23776 polygons.
