This is my diorama for the 3D1 final assignment in Howest Digital Arts & Entertainment. The goal was to create a low poly scene based on a selected storyline using Maya and Photoshop. At the end of an overgrown road in the English countryside lives grandma in her lovely stone cottage. She spends a lot of her time outside, tending to her flowers in the old greenhouse, doing daily chores and enjoying tea time while telling stories to her beloved animals. Some of them are little troublemakers but that's what makes life really interesting 3d model

A stylised plane originally i nspired from the Macchi M33 seaplane! (the one featured in the studio ghibli film porco rosso) This design is way fatter and i tried to add as much weight as i could and get it into the whale theme while still keeping it consistent and somewhat matching with the original plane. Everything went along swimmingly outside of texturing and animation as those are the two i havent dabbled that much in, especially since this is my first time creating a stylised texture, think it went well though! This was made for the course “Game Art” in DAE and im quite proud of my work! We have to make stylised interbellum aircraft and make those in a particular style, feel free to look the assignment up and you will see many other great examples!
