Der 1936 in Betrieb genommene Doppelstock-Stromlinien-Wendezug der LBE – Lübeck-Büchener Eisenbahn – nahm mit mehreren technischen Neuerungen bereits frühzeitig Entwicklungen des heutigen Eisenbahn-Fahrgastverkehrs vorweg. Im Mai 1936 wurden erstmals Doppelstock-Stromlinien-Schnellverkehrswagen auf der Strecke Hamburg Hauptbahnhof – Lübeck-Travemünde Strand eingesetzt, die weltweit Aufsehen erregten. Sie waren als Wendezüge mit Steuerwagen und automatischen Scharfenberg-Kupplungen ausgestattet. Die Zweier-Wageneinheiten hatten in der Mitte ein gemeinsames Jakobsdrehgestell. Die speziell für diese Personenwagen entwickelten Dampflokomotiven waren Schnellverkehrs-Tender-Dampflokomotiven mit Stromlinienverkleidung, die auch vom anderen Zugende aus dem Steuerwagenabteil vom Lokführer ferngesteuert werden konnten 3D Model is ready to download for free

Testing my train-rig with an animation on an unrealistic curve
(the curve is a bit to sharp, train would crash in real life).
I’m not 100% happy with the rig but so far it works well , the axes recognize the animation path, steering works and everything is on rail.
Next, I’ll create the rig for the wagons and add some tire rotation.
