The retail owns and operates all of the Burger King/Hungry Jack’s restaurants in Australia.
When Burger King expanded into Australia an Adelaide restaurant was already called Burger King.
Unable to use the US name Jack Cowin decided to name his fast food chain Hungry Jack’s instead.
