I made this fan art project for a contest inspired in the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie ( 2021).
This project was done completely from scratch in just two days ( I had to submit my work before a deadline ). The main project was modeled inside 3ds max, the character was modeled inside Zbrush ( I used a 3ds max biped as base mesh) and also, the Ice MK logo was exported to Zbrush to add some high poly details 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 95575 polygons.

These arms were optimized for Quest2 performance level. The texturing and unwrapping was done on one single texture, to prevent further draw calls for mobile VR systems. A wrist system has been added too. Was tested and works great with the free Unity addon VRarmsIK, which has till now the best ellbow correction system ever invented. And it’s free too. However, I tested these arms with this system and it was an amazing result. The arms are not connected to a “chest” bone, to be able to switch arms in runtime.
