For centuries we have spoken of ‘conquering nature’ forgetting we are a direct wonderful genetic chance response to it. But we are so connected to this biodiverse intricate ecosystem called Earth, that we are now experiencing the ramifications of our endless neglect and ‘growth’. For my interactive assignment I chose the “toekomst droom” version. I wanted to make an experience where people would be able to learn about how serious the current state of the world is and how to can learn to be better. A call out but also a hand to grab on to. I knew I wanted to make some models that clearly show the difference between good and evil things that are going on in the world.
This prototype is pretty barebones. But If I could work on it more (And with developers) I would like for it to turn into a bigger more detailed globe, where you can zoom in and see for each country, or area, what the major concerns are and where you can go to learn more or support that cause.
This is also a more aproachable way for people, from multiple ages and backgrounds to see things, than just getting a whole article shoved into your face. Or just hearing what is bad without an option or guide to be better.
