In this project l I experimented with creating complex rig for the robotic suit (learned how to set up IK, apply movement constraints, and how to deal with cables etc.). I also wanted to try out a more complicated hairstyle, so I did a Google image search for “Badass Hairstyle” and ended up settling on a variation of the dutch braid. This time around I also made sure to maintain more consistent pixel density across the various textures. I sprinkled a bit of French all over the model to make it more Canadian.

This one was a weird one for me. I’m relatively happy with the results - but the way I got there leaves me a bit unsatisfied. A lot of shortcuts, which do speed things up, but at the cost of small amounts of quality. I know what could be better, and I know how I’d make them better - but alas, I am at the mercy of deadlines, and as such, she stays -for now- as such.
The usual suspects were used for creating her - Zbrush, Maya, Painter.
