Granite statue of the god Khonsu with the features of Tutankhamun. Eighteenth Dynasty. Original found in the Temple of Khonsu at Karnak. On display for years in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo (CG 38488) and now on display in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Cairo (NMEC 838). Height is 2.52 m. Recreation of the crown and jewelry worn by Nefertiti, the wife of pharaoh Akhenaten. Based upon the 3d scan of the famous bust that depicts her.
As I am a huge fan of cultural heritage and ancient relics, I decided to create a full body visualisation of Neferteti with Metahuman and Unreal 5. While working on that, it came to my mind remake the well known bust with focus on the clothing, since the bodymesh wasn’t created by me. But I created all the accessoires and clothes, using Cinema 4D, Blender, Zbrush and Substance Painter.
