I tried very hard to make a mesh that's optimized but still with sufficient triangles to remain pretty. I was aiming for around 30k tris, and while i slightly overshot, it's still a personal W for me. A lot of learning in this one. In the end it's totally worth it to see my fella all grumpy and wobbling in 3D space. There's really nothing like making something from scratch, from concept to engine, all by yourself. Hello! This is my submission for the first assignment of Stylized Creation for Howest DAE. We were assigned to create a simple game ready character. The sculpt was made in Zbrush, low poly retopo in Maya, baking in Marmoset Toolbag and texturing in Substance Painter. In this assignment i tried to push myself to the limit on the complexity of the character for the time limit of 5 weeks we had so as to improve my skillset. I hope you like it :)
